About Quillains
I created Quillains awhile back. The origin of the term is an often debated thing in my home. My girlfriend claims she came up with it and I swear it was me. I bought the domain, so I guess I win. Unless I slip up and someone else buys it at some point. I created the site with the intention of allowing me and my friends to showcase our creative efforts. This was awhile back. These people now have their own Facebook and Myspace pages or blogs and websites. What can I say? I like to get things done even if there’s no good reason for it anymore. Actually, that’s not true. My friend Crilix and I decided to embark on a collaborative comic book project. For the year 2008, we challenged each other to a sketch a day. A focused work seemed to be the next logical step. So what’s a Quillain? A Quillain, to me, would be anyone that creates art without trying to be an asshole about it.
